Azura serves as Programme Coordination Manager for the UCAP Climate Action Implementation (CAI) Programme in Southeast Asia. She leads and supports programme management, strategic planning, and coordination across C40’s Climate Action Implementation team and other global teams.
Azura has dedicated her career to revitalizing cities and creating impactful social programmes, focusing on partnerships and placemaking principles. She has worked closely with local councils, communities, and small businesses to deliver community-driven initiatives — including parklets, laneway improvements, and urban farms — to rejuvenate public spaces in the historic centre of Downtown Kuala Lumpur. In addition, she brings experience managing Digital Inclusion and Economic Impact programmes aligned with META’s policy priorities across Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and the Philippines.
Azura holds a Master in Environmental and Sustainable Development from University College London (UCL) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Kent.
Originally from Sarawak, Azura is currently based in Kuala Lumpur. She enjoys playing tennis, strength training, and scuba diving.
